About
Robert Heaven M.A, M.Sc, PG.Dip Psych Couns, MBACP(Accred), UKRC, CCCert (Relate) has counselled many thousands of individuals, couples and groups since first qualifying in 2001. BACP Accredited since 2005, he is a trained and qualified Relationship Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Group Therapist and Clinical Supervisor, working in private practice and for agencies including major Employee Assistance Providers, corporate services and the Metropolitan Police.
Robert also provides counselling support and therapeutic services to people affected in any way by the processes of the criminal justice system — including the family courts and victims of crime — and works with perpetrators of crime. He is a former Mental Health Advisor to HM Prison Service and Probation Services.

Robert is an accredited Supervisor of practitioners (Cert ASSIP — Cambridge) and offers supervision to counsellors in training as well as to qualified counsellors and professionals in health-related professions and ancillary organisations, in line with BACP standards.
Many years of experience across corporate, public and charity sectors, including emotional first aid and counselling at critical incidents in London and the provinces.

Appointment times and days are flexible to accommodate needs that do not always fit regular patterns. Sessions last 50 minutes (supervision 90 minutes).
